My grandfather died, I am his granddaughter…his daughter wants to sell his house and I would like to keep it in the family. Would like to know what the bible says about selling a family members estate when one of the family members doesn’t agree. Or anything about probate, estates and wills that the bible says anything about.

I dont know about the bible.
This is all I know.. His daughter has more rights than you do.
So, if she wishes to sell, only his wife or his son or his siblings can object to it.
Now, if you are this “Daughters” daughter, then probably you can convince your mom in not selling the property.

The bible says to build our treasures in heaven not on earth it also says to put others before ourselves and to be peacemaker.

Most of the USA’s laws were taken from the Bible. This is why it took so long to get the “Woman” voting rights. The Bible follows that the first-born son inherits property. If there is no son’s then the first daughter…The Old Testament basically outlines the USA’s “Per Stripes” inheritance policy following genealogy down to who will inherit goods.
Basically you’ve got no say in the USA or from the Bible .
GOOD NEWS. You can do what ever you want. Let your Aunt/Mom sell the property as it is their right. You can make it your goal to buy back the property . Make sure you’re secure in you family life . Nothing is impossible, you may just need to give more time, love, and attention to getting it. The journey to get the property back may be worth more than the property itself.
REMEMBER, the Bible often demonstrates childreen/grand childreen/great grand childreen…. saving the partents/grandparents/great grandparents.
Best wishes.
