I filed a modification for child support and he owed back support. The modification was filed in 2007 and yesterday I got a letter saying they closed my case. My ex still owes me money. The state says he doesn’t. I have documentation to back me up. Help!

no you don’t, call child support enforcement agency. They handle these kinds of issues free. i had a lawyer and got no child support for 15 years. then i called the agency, they found the father and garnished his wages and i started getting child support 4 weeks later, weekly, same day every week, and they even will set you up with local office so you can go to court to demand more money if necessary.
you can find the number in the phone book or at anywho.com they are under government agencies.
and you can demand proof of where the money supposedly went. i found out 8 checks went to an old address and the person living there forged them, i got the money back but the person who took them went to jail.
