I have a probate case and they want me to furnish the court with a $80,000 bond?

    They want you to post a bond, not cash. The problem is that many insurance companies will not grant you a bond, so you will have to hire an attorney. The estate will pay for it.

    There are plenty of insurance companies who act as sureties on the bond. You or the estate pay only the premium.

    As your lawyer about this.
