I am executrix in a probate case. The lawyer has not returned my calls or letters in 15 months. What do I do?

At this point, I still do not even know who has filed a claim. This is a small town in Arkansas, and being probate has to stay within the county. At what point is it criminal for an attorney to take money and then not complete a case at his own choosing and not having the “ethics” to keep you informed?
