The probate is being handle by the public administrator office in L.A. county.
The probate is for a close relation. If I contact the court would they tell me the results of the hearing over the phone?Who would I speak to, the court clerk? Would a written letter be better and who would I send it to? Thank you all very much in advance

They should be made public in time.

You could also hire a lawyer (although it may be unnecessary and you’ll be wasting money) to try to get the results out.

If you have a claim, then you might have to go to court to file the claim in court in CA.

Probate is public information. Check the probate court website. If you have no luck call or write the probate court. If you were an heir and had anything coming to you you would have been notified in advance of the probate hearing. If you were then follow my previous instructions.
