Can I legally call the local courts and simply ask for the date that my father’s estate’s probate is set for?

probate
Becky asked:

I don’t trust the executor. So I need to know, Can I call the court house and expect to be told the court date for the settling of the estate? Or is that something that would be kept from me like (as an example) a doctor’s apt date simply because I’m not the right person (the executor)?
