Can I sue my ex husband for punitive damages for my children in MA Probate Court?
For the past 8 years, I have had to pursue 1/2 of my children’s co-pays through the courts since my ex-husband would not respond to bills I would send him. He was court ordered years ago to be responsible for 1/2 of all uninsured medical for the children. Finally, I was able to have a contempt that was continued generally put in place a few months ago that forced him to pay the doctors directly instead of having me front the money and then chase him for it. At the time we were in court for the contempt, I submitted information about orthodontic procedures for the children that needed to be paid for immediately or financing that he would have to work out and he was supposed to pay immediately. He made false promises to the orthodontist after this that he would make the payments, so they started treatment on my children. They went to the first appointment and the second one was canceled because of dad’s nonpayment. I filed a remark for contempt and contacted his lawyer to let him know. He paid a few days later and my children were able to start treatment again. I am wondering if I can sue for punitive damages? This is serious and neglectful behavior and I am sick of dealing with it. Fortunately, this medical procedure is not for illness, but for a correction of genetic deficiencies of bone structure.
Also, I am representing myself and was told by the clerk’s office hat I need to continue with my remark for contempt to preserve the standards set that he pays the doctors directly even though he paid the doctor almost a month late. Now his attorney is suing me for legal fees because he did not comply with the contempt order. He states that I am refusing to cancel the contempt even though he made payment. I am not sure how to respond to that piece of this and how the heck do I get sued for his legal fees when this was outright neglectful behavior??

who do you contact when there is tampering within the court house records?
The state is Alabama.
There’s been a will removed (somehow) from within the probate office, and someone is tampering with our land tax records.
Who should be contacted outside the court house to find out what’s going on.
I know who’s behind it, pulling the strings and paying for the services, I don’t know who the worker is inside the court house, but figure it to be the same person, but by myself I can’t prove it.
In the last paragraph, I mean that I figure there is only one person playing around in the courthouse.
the other person is paying them to do it.
Also, is there a statue of limitations on these kinds of situations inside a court house?

Are you legally married if the probate court does not have your marriage certificate?
Very complicated, I was married in 2005, we separated in 2006 and now I would like to get a divorce. After calling probate court in Georgia, I was informed there is no marriage license on file only our application. After the minister signed our certificate, I maiiled it in and for some reason, they claim to have never received it. The minister sent documentation that she indeed married us but that wasn’t good enough.
Am I legally married because the State of Georgia does not have the license even though we were actuallly married by a minister?? Help, I need to fix this ASAP!!!!

Probate court Citation?
I was served a citation in a probate case which means I have to appear before the judge TOMORROW and provide an explanation as to why I didnt file something that was ordered by the court.
Im not sure I can provide an adequate explanation without first seeking legal advice. I cannot afford to hire a lawyer?
How should I proceed?

I experienced transphobia in court when I was denied a name change, my mayor is openly ***?
I saw his contact number while looking up the probate court number to have them give me the papers to give help with my case. Do you think if I called him he would do anything?
Nevets: Transphobia = fear of *********** people & transgender people. I couldn’t agree more that my “judge” should see a doctor.

If I’m 18, do I need a parent in court with me?
I have a summons to a traffic court for speeding soon and neither of my parents will be able to appear in court with me. I was wondering if that will pose a problem or if it will be ok since I am legally an adult. I live in Georgia and its for probate court.
any advice on how to go about this case would help alot too. thanks!

My family court judgement is being appealed?
I have been told that the judgement we received from family court may be appealed. How does an appeal work in the Massachusetts probate and family court system? I’m having trouble finding information online, so any help is appreciated. Thanks! I am not the one appealing the judgement, it is the other parent.

When does the Fulton County Probate Court do in-court marriages?
I already have a marriage license as well as a list of judges, but I heard they do marriages every week at the courthouse and was wondering what day/s and time/s they do it.
Thanks in advance!

Court proceedings ears. How does someone get this to stop?
Over 6 1/2 years in court, estate finalizing. Finally thrown out of probate and superior court,, but now complaint back in another town and going to superior again. Can this legally be stopped?
Small estate, divided by 5 in the end.
All except one is contesting. I would think since the local probate and superior court have thrown this case out, that it couldn’t be brought back into courts again.
This is just so ridiculous.
not a big estate, just greedy person, and hateful person. wants the remainder of the estate to himself. can’t the judges see what is happening? two courts have thrown it out, and still protesting results.
